It's hard to decide what to bring to barbecues or potlucks. I usually stick with a dessert, but I also like to bring a side dish, and this is by far my favorite. Plus its a huge hit every time I take it.
St. James Baked Beans

- 6 slices of bacon
- 1/2 c. chopped onion
- 1 16-oz. can pork & beans, drained
- 1 16-oz. can black beans, drained
- 1 16-oz. can kidney beans, rinsed and drained
- 1 c. ketchup
- 3/4 c. dark brown sugar, firmly packed
- 1 tbsp. Worcestershire sauce
- 10 ounces sharp cheddar cheese, cubed
Directions:
1. Mix everything into a crock-pot and heat on low for at least 2 hours.
