Everyone warned me it would be a struggle, and stubborn as I am, I figured I could handle anything. Honestly, they were right; moving out the first time, especially moving in with a man, is no piece of cake. There are tons of changes from living with your parents, like where's the toilet paper, what time do I go to sleep, and how much I get at the grocery store to feed just two people, it can all be very overwhelming. So I'm here to share what I've discovered as a teen moving out the first time.
